My Story - Why I Created This Method
I’m a women's health osteopath—and a mum of two. Like many women, I went into motherhood thinking I’d just figure it out as I went along.
After a difficult second pregnancy and labour, I was blindsided by the intensity of postnatal mental health struggles. The weight of postnatal depression was overwhelming, and like so many mothers, I felt lost, ashamed, and unsure where to turn.
That season of my life led me down a powerful path of self-discovery. I began asking the hard questions: Why was I struggling so deeply? What could have helped me? How can we do better for women?
In that search, one truth became crystal clear—the way we move through pregnancy and birth deeply influences how we recover, physically and emotionally, in the postpartum period.
That’s what led me to create The Empowered Mamas Method—something I wish had existed when I needed it most. It’s built to give women what I was missing: straightforward education, tools that actually help, and a chance to feel supported in both body and mind.
The Empowered Mama's Experience

What It Is
The Empowered Mama's Experience is a signature session designed to nourish both your mind and your body. It's available both in-person at the clinic or online from the comfort of your own home, and it follows the three core pillars of the method: Educate, Ease, Empower.
These sessions are perfect for mums-to-be wanting to build their confidence for birth and recovery, manage pregnancy discomforts, and prepare their mind and body.

The In-Person Experience (in Clinic)
(90 miniutes)
Held in a calm, welcoming space, this session brings together the three pillars of The Empowered Mama’s Method in two nurturing parts:
Part One:
A 35-minute education session using visuals, models, and open conversation to deepen your understanding of pregnancy, birth preparation, and recovery.
Part Two:
Movement Screen
A gentle screen to assess how you’re moving, loading, and breathing. You’ll leave with personalised insights into what’s working well and what might benefit from support, helping you move through pregnancy (and into birth) with greater ease.
Part Three:
A soothing 40-minute back, neck, and shoulder massage designed to ease tension and calm your body and mind. Enjoy tranquil music and beautiful scents as you're guided into deep relaxation. The massage is performed in a side-lying position or, if you're comfortable, face-down using our supportive belly bump pillow.*
*Use of the belly bump pillow is always optional and will depend on your comfort, gestation, and clinical considerations. Your safety and relaxation are always our priority.

The Online Experience (Virtual 1:1)
